Customer ServiceQ: I don't like the scent I ordered, can I return it for another?
A: Due to the nature of our products we can not accept returned items. If an item is defective or has some other issue then we will replace with the same type item. We will evaluate each situation.
Q: What if I don't want to give my credit card over the Internet?
A: That's fine, simply continue through the ordering process until it asks you for a credit card number, then simply choose "check" or "phone" as a payment option and we will receive your order electronically. You can then give us your credit card number over the phone, or write us a check, and as soon as we receive payment, or your check clears the bank, we'll ship your order.
Q: What is Soap Cafe's shipping policy?
A: Soap Cafe usually ships orders within 5 business days, sometimes sooner. Larger orders will take longer to ship and we will notify you in regards to shipping status. At this time we only ship to the United States, however we will, at times, ship outside the US, with additional shipping costs. During holidays and busy periods it may be up to 10 days for order processing. Q: What is Soap Cafe's shipping cost?
A: Shipping costs are $5 for the first item and $1.15 for each additional item to the same shipping address & order.
Q: What if it has been a few weeks and I didn't get my order?
A: Soap Cafe ships USPS Priority Mail, with delivery confirmation. We can not be held responsible if your mail man leaves the package with a neighbor or it doesn't arrive. If you live in an apt. or condo/townhouse, we suggest that you have your items shipped to an address where someone is there to take delivery such as a work address or mail box. If you would like your items shipped via another method please contact us and we can make arrangements.
Q: Who makes Soap Cafe products?
A: All Soap Cafe products are handcrafted in small batches or individually. There may be slight color variations for each product due to being handcrafted. Each item is made in the Soap Cafe kitchen by the head chef and helpers.
Q: What are Soap Cafe soaps made from?
A: All soaps are glycerin based, animal and cruelty free. All items are made with cosmetic grade fragrance oils and coloring.
